Director's Commentary

At Matt's request, I put his girlfriend in this arc. People are wondering "why does she never talk?" I really don't know. It just didn't happen. Although she DID sing in 059.

The strip was made for a Tuesday because that was Pat's birthday.

This was the second time I did a vertical strip. This is very unusual, even for webcomics, but the odd number of panels and the "spoiler-prevention" nature of a vertical strip made it necessary. The last strip to use this method was done simply because the panels were too wide to make a 2x2 block and have it fit on screens with low resolutions.

Also, in preperation for this strip I asked Pat, discreetly, if he liked the Doug cartoon on Disney and later ABC.

This is Evil Tiny's second and (so far) last appearance.

Everyone keeps asking me who the guy in the Diablo II tee is. It's Alex. I know I don't do a very consistent job drawing him. Sorry about that, Alex.

This strip is basically Pat and me taking our vengence out on all those poser otakus who think they know everything. Title inspired by the Triumph the Insult Comic Dog sketch where he pesters Star Wars fans waiting for Episode II.

How can a person really pronounce "OOOWW!!!11"?

The "Takatori!" reference is from the anime Weiß Kreuz. It's too complicated to explain and you probably don't care. It's often yelled during a meeting of the Anime Society of Ithaca College.

Here I take a stab at myself and the sad, sad fact that I'm too lazy to redraw panels. I think only 15% of this entire series has original artwork.
