08.04.2009 TIME IS FAR TOO SHORT
Today Catomix celebrates its nineteenth anniversary! To commemorate the occasion, the logo has once again been modified. Unlike last year's subtle revision, however, the look is being accompanied by a drastic change of the central element: the Catomix Eye. It's been moved out of the word "Catomix" and now sports extra identifying features. This is a push to create better brand identity, as well as to keep people from seeing the logo as "Cat Mix" with an eye separating two different words. (Yes, that still happens.)
Our nineteenth year passed without much hoopla, although the debut of Simon Scout in the Fifth Dimension is a notable feat. As Catomix faces its astonishing twentieth year of making comics, better things continue to be on the horizon. I want to thank everyone who helped myself and the "company" over the past nineteen years, from friends and family to those who purchased issues from Spa City Comics and those on-line and offered their valuable feedback. Catomix would be nothing today without any of you.
What's coming down the pipe this year? Would you believe UTC #4 is finally going to be finished? Simon Scout #2 is also in the works, ready to begin pre-production for a possible holiday debut. Finally, there is also the ongoing collaboration with Grabbajad!!! Entertainment on Fenix Gear #1, hopefully debuting by the end of 2009.

It seems like so long ago that the Official Platinum Comics website began at TopCities. But all things must eventually end, and all websites must eventually move to better servers.
This month, catomix.com will start redirecting to the address catomix.whaleymation.com. If your bookmarks still access this site via pcomics.topcities.com, they need to be updated either to www.catomix.com, or catomix.whaleymation.com.
After six years on TopCities, we're moving to a dedicated webspace with more room to play in and more freedom to enjoy. Join us, won't you? The transition will be complete by the end of the year, at which point pcomics.topcities.com will be shut down.
